Collaborating with other artistic minds to produce live and on-camera performances is another passion of Meredith’s. The intricate layers of the creative process as well as the interplay between the technical and logistical aspects of storytelling excites and fascinates her. Working as an aerialist sparked this interest because understanding the technical components is essential to the art form. It inspires one to look at the bigger picture of designing effective performance elements, in addition to creating inspiring movement.

Meredith applies this “big picture” approach to her aerial coaching and consulting as well. Whether she’s working with experienced aerialists or first-timers, she focuses on helping each artist understand the fundamentals of aerial work. This way each individual learns to trust their own instincts as to what makes safe and compelling choices in the air. She has coached students of all ages, skill levels, both amateur and professional. Some of her notable coaching projects: Amazon Prime Day Special and working as a consultant and flying trainer for Tokyo Disney’s Dreaming Up! parade.

Meredith was the aerial coordinator for the world premiere of Disney’s feature film, Dumbo. She has contributed aerial choreography for Mary Kay Seminar, Skechers Industrial, Lady Niguma: a Mantra Opera, and numerous private events. She often collaborates with aerial and dance partner, Antonio Martinez. One of her favorite projects co-choreographed with Antonio was Entangled, an acrobatic tango that takes flight. She has utilized her diverse dance background as assistant choreographer for Wonderful World of Disney Christmas Special and as assistant stage director/associate choreographer for the Chase Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. It was one of Meredith’s biggest projects yet, where she had the opportunity to work with over 100 performers including acrobats, rhythmic gymnasts, a gospel choir, body percussionists, and dancers.

Meredith also assists world-renowned director and aerial choreographer, Dreya Weber. She’s assisted Dreya on Magic Mike Live Australia, Magic Mike Live Las Vegas, and Another Rose, an immersive theatrical production for the new Virgin Voyages cruise line. A highlight of working with Dreya was assisting her for P!nk’s performance on the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Dreya has been a mentor of Meredith’s for over 10 years and she’s excited to see where their creative journey leads to next.
